Prior to these appointments, he completed service in the United States Navy and the United States Naval Reserve. Over the years, Mr. O'Connor also found success as the president of Daymark, Inc.
An expert in his field, Mr. O'Connor initially earned a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University. He continued his studies with both a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies. Subsequently, Mr. O'Connor concluded his academic efforts with a Master of Arts from Trinity Theological Seminary.
Although his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. O'Connor is especially proud of serving on the board of directors for City National Bank, where he was instrumental in forming its holding company and helping the organization to transition from a unit bank to a branch bank. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he is affiliated with the Kanawha County Bar Association, the West Virginia Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Looking toward the future, Mr. O'Connor intends to enjoy his retirement.
