A devoted public servant, Mr. Malone celebrates a storied and rich professional background in law enforcement and security services. He spent nearly 20 years with the Fort Worth Police Department from 1969 to 1986, rising through the ranks from cadet, officer, and sergeant to lieutenant. Following his retirement from the police force, Mr. Malone joined Alarm Specialist, Inc. in the position of computer operator.
Mr. Malone is an alumnus of Texas Wesleyan University, having achieved a Bachelor of Arts in 1973. He is a licensed security support professional in the state of Texas, and a certified security officer. Mr. Malone is also a former military service member, serving from 1970 to 1972 in the United States Army.
To remain current with trends in law enforcement, Mr. Malone maintains affiliation with the Fort Worth Police Officers Association. Civically, he is a member of the Lay Witness for Christ International and a volunteer to assist local residents who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Notably, Mr. Malone has participated in two Olympic Mission Trips. Further, he is a published author, having written "Miracle on 8th Avenue," released by Xulon Press and available via Amazon.com.
Throughout his career, Mr. Malone has been recognized for his contributions to the field of public service. He was named Security Officer of the Year by Quality Security, Employee of the Month by the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and he received a Certificate of Excellence from Securitas. An acclaimed listee of Marquis Who's Who, Mr. Malone has been featured in a number of honors titles, including Who's Who in the South and Southwest.
