Supported by more than 50 years of practiced experience in law and business, Mr. Nemanick has been the president of CKN Inc. since 1984. While serving in this position, he was also the vice president of Young Dental Inc. from 1995 until his retirement from the legal industry in 1999, as well as the president of The Lorvic Corp. from 1986 to 1995. Prior to these roles, he was vice president of The Lorvic Corp. from 1969 to 1986 and held the same role with the North American Security Corp. from 1967 to 1970. Equally passionate about civic involvement, Mr. Nemanick served as the alderman of the city of Town and Country, Missouri, the commissioner of the Police and Fire Commission, and a board of directors' member of Central County Dispatching from 1986 to 1994, having also been the board chair in 1991. Additionally, he was a board member of Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis, the Founders Circle, The Salvation Army USA and the William Booth Society.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Nemanick pursued formal education at the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he received a Bachelor of Science in 1964. Soon thereafter, he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from Saint Louis University in 1967 and a Master of Laws from Washington University in St. Louis in 1978. Mr. Nemanick has been admitted to practice law by the Missouri State Bar and the St. Louis Bar Association. During his career, he also served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve and received an honorable discharge on October 31, 1983 as a staff sergeant.
Recognized for excellence in his field, Mr. Nemanick has been elected to the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi and has cultivated continued involvement with the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity. Married with three children and four step-children, he is also a doting grandfather to five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, swimming, fishing, reading and walking. Likewise, Mr. Nemanick is an avid bridge player and is active with the American Contract Bridge League.
