Previously, Ms. McGulpin excelled as a home care nurse from 1983 until 1985, a nurse for Seattle King County Public Health from 1977 until 1981, an enterostomal therapist for Pasadena Visiting Nurse Association from 1972 until 1974 and a nurse on the Hopi Indian Reservation from 1969 until 1970.
In 1968, Ms. McGulpin earned an Associate of Arts in nursing from Pasadena City College. Subsequently, she became a licensed nurse through the Las Encinas Hospital. Today, Ms. McGulpin remains affiliated with the Whatcom County Association of REALTORS, the National Associations of REALTORS, and the Visiting Nurse Association.
In her spare time, Ms. McGulpin contributes to the American Red Cross and volunteered for the United Ostomy Association and the Child Protective Services for Victorville, CA. For her outstanding accomplishments in nursing, she was featured in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in the West, Who's Who in American Nursing, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare and Who's Who of American Women. Likewise, Ms. McGulpin was presented with grants from the American Cancer Society and the Visiting Nurse Association.
