Previously, Dr. Davidson gained valuable expertise as a physician with Baptist Primary Care System between 1994 and 1998, and in private practice from 1990 until 1994. Her inaugural positions in the field were interning at New Hanover Memorial Hospital in 1987 and 1988 and completing a residency in internal medicine at the aforementioned hospital between 1988 and 1990. Though her career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Davidson is especially proud to have joined her father in his private practice.
Prior to embarking upon her professional career, Dr. Davidson earned a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University in 1983, and a Doctor of Medicine from East Tennessee State University in 1987. To keep aware of developments in the field, she maintains her professional affiliation with the American College of Physicians, the Tennessee Medical Association, the American Medical Association, and the National Medical Associations and the Knoxville Academy of Medicine. Dr. Davidson has been honored numerous times for her efforts in medicine.
