Although his career is still in its infancy, he has already contributed to such articles as "polypectomy versus surgery in early colon cancer: size and location of color 2018 cancer affect long-term survival," which was featured in the International Journal of Colorectal Disease and "Early esophageal cancer specific survival is unaffected by anatomical location of 2016 tumor: a population-based study" that was published in the Canadian Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Additionally, Dr. Gangireddy has presented his findings at several conferences through the American College of Gastroenterology and served in editorial positions for the World Journal of Gastroenterology, the Journal of Clinical Genitourinary Cancer, the Journal of Clinical Case Reports, and many more.
In pursuit of his medical dream, Dr. Gangireddy obtained a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery through Guntur Medical College in 2007. Subsequently, he became a postgraduate student in the Master of Public Health program at the University of Alabama, completing a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology through Augusta University. He remains aware of industry changes and breakthrough research through his affiliations with the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology. Previously, Dr. Gangireddy was also aligned with the Indian Association of Public Health, the Indian Medical Council, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians.
Due to his outstanding achievements, Dr. Gangireddy was honored as an early stage investigator through the American Gastroenterology Association and earned a Certificate of Commendation for Resident Physician Community Services through the Association of American Medical Colleges. Additionally, he won the Level III Merit in Dr. V. Seshagiri Rao Memorial Gold Medal Prize Examination in Pharmacology and the Level II Merit in Dr. G.V. Hanumantha Gold Medal Prize Examination in Surgery with Special Reference to Ophthalmology. In the coming years, Dr. Gangireddy aims to pursue additional research and increase his work with professional organizations.
