Mr. Jon Kalina has served as the chief executive officer of Peeled Snacks since 2017.

In this post, he has implemented 10 company cultures that currently assist in daily operations, consolidated 13 brokers into 2 brokers for both the natural and specialty channels throughout the United States and employed a new ERP system. Previously, he gained valuable industry experience in other executive positions for Blue Marble Brands, where he supervised sales in the natural, supernatural, supermarket, international, club and foodservice channels of trade, which values nearly $170 million a year. Moreover, Blue Marble Brands also achieved a minimum of 10 percent growth per year for 11 straight years as a result of Mr. Kalina's determined efforts.
Before joining Blue Marble Brands, Mr. Kalina worked for Seasons' Enterprises and Kettle Foods, Inc. as the senior vice president of sales and the director of national accounts. In these posts, he liaised with senior management, including the companies' owners, increased sales and implemented broker changes to better serve company needs. He notably began his career as the sales manager of Bin Sales and Marketing followed by an account executive and a category manager for Kuehn Prewitt Rufer. In the context of all of his work, Mr. Kalina has maintained a record of closing sales and enhancing company profitability.
An expert in his field, Mr. Kalina has earned a Bachelor of Arts in business management with a minor in economics from Rockford Business College. Subsequently, he continued his training in IRI, Apollo, Microsoft, INTACTIX and Karass Negotiating. During his spare time, he contributes to his community as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Looking toward the future, Mr. Kalina aims to build Peeled Snacks to a point where he can sell the company while helping brands and companies turn higher profits.
