Ms. Villone is renowned as a nursing consultant with more than 35 years of service to her patients and community to her credit. She became interested in nursing after her father survived a critical illness with a poor prognosis, and she developed an admiration for the professionals providing him with direct care. In 1971, Ms. Villone graduated from the County College of Morris with an Associate in Applied Science in nursing, and became a registered nurse soon thereafter.
Ms. Villone initially worked for Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey, as a dialysis nurse, rising to the post of the manager of the dialysis unit. She supervised the dialysis program's inception, as well as its growth to a second location. She later found success as a home care nurse with At Home Medical, administering intravenous antibiotics and nutrition to patients and monitoring their progress. Ms. Villone is most proud of her work as an AED program manager for the Atlantic HeartSmart AED program, which pioneered the placement of more than 500 AED units in businesses and schools throughout New Jersey.
Ms. Villone has been celebrated in multiple editions of Who's Who in American Nursing as well as one edition of Who's Who in American Women in 2006. She is a former member of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Foundation and the John Taylor Babbitt Foundation. Beyond her primary responsibilities, Ms. Villone enjoys gardening and spending time with her four grandchildren.
