Ms. Margarita Deleuze is the recipient of the Artistic Achievement Award from the Five Part National Juried Competition Artscape in Naples, Florida.
WESTON, FL, October 23, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Margarita Deleuze with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Deleuze celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
An internationally recognized artist, Ms. Deleuze began her career with a single exhibit in her native country of Venezuela. Eventually relocating to the United States, her artistry has evolved quite a bit from her humble beginnings. Today, she resides in southeast Florida in a town called Weston, where she has made a name for herself. Maintaining her own art studio, which she describes as a place "filled with good energy," Ms. Deleuze has painted over 500 works of art to date.
Although she has trained with several Venezuelan master artists over the years, Ms. Deleuze is mostly self-taught. Originally working with charcoal, she now primarily utilizes oil, incorporating tropical landscapes, horses, fruit and various other vibrant, realistic objects on a linen backdrop. Her oil paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in museums, galleries and art expos throughout the United States and abroad, including in the Florida Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art in Miami and the San Francisco Museum of Contemporary Hispanic Art. Ms. Deleuze's artwork has also been featured in major exhibitions, as well as in private collections across the U.S., Europe and Latin America.
To remain aware of developments in her field, Ms. Deleuze is a member of the National Museum of Women in Arts. She is also actively involved with the World Wildlife Fund, the National Audubon Society, the Humane Society of Broward County and the Defenders of Wildlife. Ms. Deleuze notably earned an associate degree from Bennett College in New York sin 1962.
In 2016, Ms. Deleuze was presented with Third Prize in the Weston Art Guild Juried Art Show. Other awards to her credit have included a Premio Nostros Award from ALAS, a San Francisco Museum Contemporary Hispanic Art Award and an Artistic Achievement Award from the Five Part National Juried Competition Artscape in Naples, Florida. A celebrated Marquis listee, Ms. Deleuze has been featured in more than 20 editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Margarita Deleuze has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
