Throughout his career, Dr. Reginald C.S. Ho focused much of his research on blood disorders and cancer.

Now retired as a physician and an educator, Dr. Ho spent his career in Hawaii specializing in hematology and oncology. Practicing medicine at the Straub Clinic and Hospital in Honolulu between 1963 and 2010, he was also an a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine between 1977 and 2008. During his tenure at the aforementioned university, he notably served as a principal investigator of the community clinical oncology program in Honolulu between 1983 and 1986. Additionally, Dr. Ho taught as an adjunct professor of clinical science at the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii for many years, beginning in 1989.
A native of Hong Kong, Dr. Ho traveled to the United States in 1940, subsequently earning a Doctor of Medicine at Saint Louis University in 1959. He soon thereafter completed a rotating internship and a residency in internal medicine at the University of Cincinnati Hospitals and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Barnes Hospital at Washington University in Saint Louis. Furthermore, Dr. Ho is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Ho contributed in multiple capacities to the American Cancer Society, including as a member, the president, and member of the board of directors. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and the Hawaii Medical Association. In the service of his local community, Dr. Ho worked on the board of directors of Catholic Services for Families for several years.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ho focused much of his research on blood disorders and cancer. He has contributed numerous articles to various scholarly journals as a result. A celebrated Marquis listee, Dr. Ho has been featured in myriad editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education and Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
