A celebrated figure in the pharmaceutical industry, Ms. Erickson has long been affiliated with the Warroad Care Center in Warroad, Minnesota, as a pharmacy consultant and member of the organization's infection control committee. Her career in pharmaceuticals dates back to 1943 when she first served as an analyst for the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy in Minneapolis. Ms. Erickson later held roles at several other pharmacies as a pharmacist-in-charge, staff pharmacist and manager. She has also been in the real estate industry for many years as the vice president of retail sales/rental properties for Warroad Heritage, Inc., since 1975.
Since embarking upon her career, Ms. Erickson has been active with numerous civic organizations. She notably served as a crusade chair for the Erie County unit of the American Cancer Society in Hamburg, New York, was director of religious education for the Hamburg Central School District and was vice president of the Wanaka Parent Teacher Organization in New York. Further, she headed the Girl Scouts of America as a leader in both in New York and Minnesota.
First studying at Macalester College, Ms. Erickson soon transferred to the University of Minnesota, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy in 1946. She was recognized as a professor emeritus in 2019. She is a registered pharmacist in the state of Minnesota.
Ms. Erickson is a member and former delegate of the Minnesota Pharmacists Association. She is also a member of several other industry-related organizations, including the Society of Hospital Pharmacists, the National Community Pharmacists Association (formerly known as the National Association of Retail Druggists), and the American Pharmacists Association. Further, Ms. Erickson is active as a member of the Minnesota Alumni, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Named to the Rembrandt Corporation Hall of Fame, Ms. Erickson also received an Appreciation Award from the Warroad Care Center and a Warroad High School Award for Outstanding Achievement. A celebrated Marquis listee, she is featured in the 15th edition of Who's Who of American Women and the 20th edition of Who's Who in the Midwest.
