In this position, Mr. Duryea plays a vital role in providing sewage service to more than 12,500 customers across 13 communities in the Kiskiminetas River Valley.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Duryea gained valuable experience as a site manager for Reserved Environmental Services in Butler, PA. He was also the owner of D Squared Environmental Services from 2002 to 2010. Prior to embarking on his professional career, Mr. Duryea attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering in 1978, and a Master of Arts in business administration in 1986. To stay up to date on changes in his industry, he remains affiliated with reputable organizations such as the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association, the Western Pennsylvania Water Pollution Control Association and the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association.
Mr. Duryea aims to learn something new every day and he attributes his success to his desire to constantly improve upon his skills.
