With more than 30 years of accomplishment in his field, Mr. Krall is renowned as an esteemed lawyer and law educator. He initially pursued an education at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and economics. Following this accomplishment, he served as an actuary for Buck Consultants, New York City, from 1985 to 1986, quickly realizing that his passion was not in pure math, but rather in the logic and reasoning behind it. Mr. Krall subsequently returned to his academic efforts, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Case Western Reserve University in 1989, and was admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Ohio the same year.
From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Krall excelled as an attorney at the firm then known as McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Haiman, Cleveland, Ohio. He found success with Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs of Akron, Ohio from 1994 to 2003, when he became an attorney at Kaufman & Kaufman of Akron. From 2006 to 2011, Mr. Krall flourished as an attorney for Weston Hurd in Cleveland and Akron, and he has practiced at Cavitch Familo Durkin Cleveland and Akron since 2011.
Mr. Krall additionally worked as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Akron School of Law from 1997 to 1999. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio since 1993. Mr. Krall's specialty is trust and estate law, and he provides his professional expertise to various community organizations, having been the former chair of the Akron Tax and Estate Planning Council, and a member of the Cleveland Estate Planning Council since 1989. Likewise, he is a Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel and the Akron Bar Association and a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association, where he has held numerous leadership roles, including Past Chair of the latter's Estate Planning Trust and Probate Law Section. He currently serves as a Co-Editor of the Probate Law Journal of Ohio.
