Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, he gained valuable expertise as a physician for Pilot Point Family Medical Clinic from 1985 until 2010 and Clare Clinic in Michigan between 1981 and 1985. His first role in the field was that of an intern for the Flint Michigan Osteopathic Hospital from 1980 to 1981. Throughout his career, Dr. Gershon has publicly spoken on behalf of the Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine.
An expert in anti-aging medicine, Dr. Gershon holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College, which he earned in 1980. Additionally, he is certified through the American Board of General Practice, the American Academy of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine. He retains his professional alignment with the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine and many more in order to remain aware of changes in the field. Dedicated to his community, Dr. Gershon has also served on the medical advisory board of Organicell.
For his numerous professional accomplishments, Dr. Gershon received a fellowship in stem cell therapy through the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine in 2016.
