Since 2009, Ms. Moffett has excelled as an attorney and since 2018, as a shareholder for Greater Orlando Family Law. Prior to law school, she worked as a paralegal. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, she earned a Bachelor of Science in legal studies. Moreover, she secured a Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in 2009. The only member of her family to graduate college, Ms. Moffett decided to pursue a career in family law in hopes of helping parents understand the traumas that divorce can have on children, and helping her clients understand how to make sure that their children are the most important in the divorce.
With the Greater Orlando Family Law, Ms. Moffett's responsibilities include managing staff, making major decisions regarding the firm, representing clients, and preparing for and attending trials and hearings for clients. She attributes her success to her personality and deep compassion for her clients and their outcomes. For her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Moffett has been a recipient of numerous awards including a listing among the 2019 Super Lawyers Rising Star Award, Top 40 Under 40 Award from The National Advocates from 2017-2019, and the AVVO Client's Choice Award from 2016-2019, just to name a few.
Ms. Moffett is a member of the Central Florida Family Law American Inns of Court. Civically, she is involved with Rotary and was the president (2018-2019) and secretary (2016-2017) of the Altamonte Springs Rotary Club. Through Rotary, she works on many local projects for her community and has worked on a project with Habitat for Humanity.
