A fourth-generation audiologist, Mr. Kent has excelled as the president of Beltone Audiology & Hearing Centers since the mid-1990s. In pursuit of his career, he initially earned a Bachelor of General Studies in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Kansas in 1994. Subsequently, Mr. Kent obtained a Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1996 just prior to joining Beltone Audiology.

In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Kent is affiliated with the International Hearing Society and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Due to his professional achievements, he was awarded the Beltone Electronic Regional Award for 2002, 2005 and 2014. He has been recognized among the Best of Omaha from 2017 to 2020 and the Best of Fremont, NE, between 2016 and 2018. Additionally, he received the Beltone President's Cup from Beltone Electronics and was honored among the Best of Columbus by Columbus Newspaper. He has also been awarded the Reader's Choice Award from Council Bluffs, Iowa 11 years in a row from 2009 to the present. Looking toward the future, Mr. Kent intends to establish another location for his business and bring light to new technologies available in the field.
