Over the years, he has also gained valuable expertise as the director of acute in-patient dialysis for Fresnius, the chief of nephrology for Mountainview Hospital and the vice chief of nephrology for Sunrise Hospital. While attending medical school, he intended to become a general practitioner. However, once the nephrology department approached him for a position, Dr. King shifted the focus of his medical career.
In pursuit of his medical dreams, Dr. King earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California Los Angeles. Subsequently, he obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University of Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine. Following these accomplishments, Dr. King completed a residency and a fellowship at the University of California Irvine.
Currently, Dr. King retains his professional alignment with the American Society of Nephrology. During his spare time, he has dedicated his attention and resources to the pharmacy and therapeutic committee at Mountainview Hospital and the credentialing committee at Sunrise Hospital. Furthermore, Dr. King is active as a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
In light of his professional achievements, Dr. King was recognized as a Top Doctor in Healthcare Quarterly in 2018 and 2019. Although he has accomplished much in his career, he is especially proud of his 21-year marriage, during which time he has raised three wonderful daughters.
