PRESCOTT, AZ, February 25, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Geoff Fox has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Having played baseball for nearly his entire life, Mr. Fox was determined to make a career within the field. As a result, he was able to consider dedicating his efforts toward scouting, which would enable him to deal with professional baseball organizations, or become a coach, which allowed him to interact with the players on a direct, personal level. Due to his past experiences with his coaches, most notable of which were Todd Eastin and Chris Hanks, Mr. Fox decided upon coaching, beginning his career as an assistant baseball coach and a kinesiology instructor with the Saddleback Gauchos in 2006.
Following this appointment, Mr. Fox found much success with the Saddleback Gauchos, for which he prospered as the assistant head baseball coach from 2007 to 2012. During this time, he additionally excelled in the same position with the Quakes Baseball Academy from 2007 to 2013. Subsequently, Mr. Fox was active as the lead camp coordinator for the West region of the Baseball America Camp Series from 2013 to 2017.
Furthermore, Mr. Fox held a number of posts at Chapman University between 2013 and 2019, including as a recruiting coordinator, an assistant baseball coach and a kinesiology instructor. Since 2019, he has flourished as the head baseball coach for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. In his spare time, Mr. Fox contributes to the community as a member of Planet Baseball, which was founded to offer instruction and coaching from Division I and Division III college coaches.
An expert in his field, Mr. Fox initially earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications and media studies from Colorado Mesa University in 2005. Three years later, he obtained a Master of Arts in health and human performance from Fort Hays State University. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Fox is affiliated with the American Baseball Coaches Association.
In recognition of his exemplary body of work, Mr. Fox was recognized as the Assistant Baseball Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association in 2019. When not dedicating his attention toward baseball, he is a devoted family man, having been extremely supportive to his wife and two children while fostering a valuable family atmosphere. Looking toward the future, Mr. Fox aims to develop a championship caliber program while leaving any organization with which he works better than when he began.
