Prior to these appointments, Ms. Clements began her career as a clinical health scientist with the Oklahoma State Department of Health from 2012 to 2014, directing daily laboratory operations and representing the department at an HIV testing conference in Atlanta.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Clements pursued an education at the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor of Science in microbiology in 2011. Beyond her responsibilities within the field, she has contributed to the Integris Baptist Medical Center as a biomedical engineer intern between 2010 and 2012. She has also held the position of a summer research and administrative assistant with the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in 2010. Ms. Clements found success with her volunteer works as well, providing her time and resources to Saint Ann's Nursing Home from 2000 until 2005 and the Ministries of Jesus since 2009.
Having worked in a full-time capacity since the age of 16, Ms. Clements attributes her success to her hard work, ambition and exemplary dedication to her responsibilities. Harboring a natural interest in science, she has been additionally inspired by the opportunity to build and help families through newborn screenings and treatment of infants in need. She is also motivated by her work in the urology laboratory, as it connects with her on a personal level considering her mother suffered with urological issues prior to her tragic passing.
