Though Ms. Ashley's literary endeavors began with complications, as many publishers and agents were reluctant to work with her due to her unique style, the ascension of independent publishing made it monumentally easier to reach her audience without having to compromise her artistic voice. After relocating to England, she decided to take a sabbatical from her role as a charity executive to focus on writing full-time, utilizing more than 20 unpublished works as the cornerstone of her own publishing business. Within six months, Ms. Ashley's business began to blossom, having grown from selling one book a week to selling thousands of titles each day. She now has sold over three million copies of her books.
Since 2013, Ms. Ashley has found success as the owner of Rock Chick, LLC. A champion of nourishing a powerful inner self for women, as well as strong female relationships, as part of her business, she nurtures the Rock Chick Nation, a charity arm that raises funds for women's charities, and provides social opportunities to celebrate the sisterhood. Ms. Ashley believes that her work with the Rock Chick Nation is paramount to her brand, and the harboring of a strong female community promoting empowerment and independence can yield greater benefits to society as a whole. In the future, she hopes to provide scholarships to young women.
In light of her exceptional undertakings, Ms. Ashley has accrued several accolades throughout her impressive career.
