His expertise included more than 15 years with General Motors Components Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of General Motors and an automotive components producer and distributor based in the U.S. Concurrent with his tenure with General Motors, Mr. Hodges excelled as a tool and die maker and a facilities and tooling supervisor from 1990 to 2006.
Mr. Hodges contributed for seven years with Bendix K.C. Contractor for Energy Commission as a tool and die maker and model maker mechanic between 1969 and 1976. He has been self-employed in the areas of Dallas and Fort Worth since 2015. Looking towards the future, Mr. Hodges aspires to continue in much the same vein as an independent consultant and mechanist.
Born in Texas, Mr. Hodges later graduated from Central Senior High School in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1969. While in high school, he pursued an electronics vocation. After graduating, he discovered the field of manufacturing and in 1973 completed a tool and diemaker apprenticeship. Years later, Mr. Hodges earned a Bachelor of Science in business management at Tarkio College in Tarkio, Missouri, in 1988, followed by a Master of Science in manufacturing management at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan, in 1995.
