Dr. Bhalla formerly contributed for five years as a research associate, initially at the University of Georgia in Athens and then at Emory University in Atlanta between 1969 and 1974.
As an endocrinologist and biochemist, Dr. Bhalla has studied extensively in his field, while simultaneously securing grants from the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. He has also served as a speaker in his field and has authored and co-authored numerous articles for various scholarly journals. He is a former editorial board member for Biology of Reproduction and a former reviewer for the Andrology Journal. Dr. Bhalla served as a reviewer for the Endocrinology Journal and for Alcoholism-Clinical and Experimental Research.
Dr. Bhalla pursued his studies in his home country of India, receiving a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science at Saint John's College in Agra in 1962 and 1964, respectively. Shortly thereafter, he acquired a Doctor of Philosophy at the National Chemical Laboratory in Poona in 1968, just before arriving in the U.S. Aligned with several industry-related organizations, Dr. Bhalla is a member of the American Chemical Society of Research, the American Fertility Society and, among others, the endocrine study section of the National Institutes of Health. A celebrated Marquis listee, he has been featured in the seventh and eighth editions of Who's Who in the World. He is also listed in the first edition of Who's Who in Frontier Science and Technology in 1984-1985.
