Prior to his tenure at the pharmaceutical conglomerate, Dr. Saxena worked as the general manager for Accenture Services. Earlier in his career, he flourished as an epidemiologist with the Ministry of Health (HQ) in Singapore, where he also served as a clinical quality and audit officer from 2003 to 2004. Due to his considerable knowledge, Dr, Saxena has contributed to numerous publications on outcomes research and participated as a reviewer for Blackwell & Elsevier Journals.
An expert in his field, Dr. Saxena obtained a Master of Science from the National University of Singapore and MD from SMS Medical School, Jaipur, India. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he is affiliated with Rotary International and ISPOR, the leading professional society for health economics and outcomes research. For his outstanding work in the field, he received a Global Commercial Award, the Global Achievement Award from Novartis and an Award for Social Service from Rotary International.
