Supported by an Associate of Arts in culinary arts from the California Culinary Academy, he has served in executive positions at several top restaurants throughout his career. He currently excels as the executive chef of Oak Steakhouse with the Indigo Road Hospitality Group. As the executive chef, Mr. Conrad is responsible for overall culinary management, including managing the restaurant staff, doing public outreach, managing cost of goods, menu development, special occasion menu design, and managing all financials and profit loss for the restaurant.
Mr. Conrad's most notable achievement thus far has been working at the legendary Hay Adams Hotel, a four-star hotel property directly across the street from the White House. Through this opportunity, he was able to cook for and entertain guests of different heads of state, including high profile government officials of the United States. In accounting for his standout success, Mr. Conrad attributes his positive personality, hard work and perseverance.
In his spare time outside of work, Mr. Conrad enjoys working on cars, traveling and spending time with family. Looking toward the future, he hopes to take on a more corporate role, overseeing a multi-unit region with the Indigo Road Hospitality Group. Happily married, Mr. Conrad is the proud father of two sons.
