After beginning her career as a nurse assistant, a nurse technician and a registered nurse, Dr. Irwin became active as an obstetrician gynecologist at Central Texas Medical Center, with a focus on urogynecology. She expanded coverage to South Austin Medical Center and Seton Medical Center, and Resolute hospitals. In 2013, she became board certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, A.K.A., urogynecology. As an accomplished medical professional, she has utilized her expertise to treat pelvic floor dysfunction such as pelvic organ prolapse, bowel and bladder incontinence, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction. Dr. Irwin's qualifications include board certification in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, a certification in Da Vinci robotic surgery and a certification in laser vaginal rejuvenation.
