Vembra Holnagel hopes to continue implementing her cost-effective and time-efficient fundraising strategies
ENCINITAS, CA, April 29, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vembra Holnagel has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With more than 40 years of professional experience to her credit, Vembra Holnagel has excelled as a founding member of the board of directors, the president and the director of marketing for Shades of Pink Foundation California (SOPFCA), a charity organization that is dedicated to providing monetary assistance to California citizens struggling as a result of a breast cancer diagnosis or corresponding treatment. Holding these positions since 2013, she formerly flourished within the organization as the past president of the board and has written more than 175 grants throughout her tenure with SOPFCA. A personal advocate for breast cancer awareness following the passing of a dear friend in 2012, Ms. Holnagel initially became involved with the aforementioned non-profit through her daughter, Kianne, who co-founded SOPFCA and believed her mother's affiliation would better the lives of one another as well as of women in their community.
Furthermore, Ms. Holnagel has been active with 5 Star Direct Marketing since 2012, BNI Encinitas since 2007 and the San Diego Association of Bridal Consultants since 2005, the latter of which she had worked in party, event and wedding planning between 2005 and 2011. During this time, she served as a social media consultant for Face it UP between 2010 and 2013. Prior to these appointments, Ms. Holnagel began her career as a flight attendant for United Airlines between 1979 and 1984.
Now a full-time volunteer with SOPFCA, Ms. Holnagel coordinates the grant committee as the chairperson, a role in which she reviews grant applications and ensured grant recipients are properly supported. Furthermore, she contributes to SOPFCA as the development director, managing fundraising efforts, communicating with donors and collaborating with community partners on fundraising events. Proud of the hard work she commits to SOPFCA on a daily basis, Ms. Holnagel is incredibly appreciative of having had her perspective on the struggle of breast cancer survivors broadened as a result of these posts as well as the motivation she garners to continue raising funds for more sizeable grants.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Holnagel pursued an education at California State University San Marcos, earning a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 1994. Additionally, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise, including the Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club. Looking toward the future, Ms. Holnagel hopes to continue implementing her cost-effective and time-efficient fundraising strategies through Shades of Pink Foundation California while devoting her spare time to her friends, family and her enthusiasm for the San Diego State Aztecs.
