She initially pursued an education at Western Michigan University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in psychology and pre-medicine in 1999. She continued her academic efforts with an Associate of Applied Science in registered nursing at Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2001. Ms. Hartl subsequently graduated with a Master of Science in nursing from Grand Valley State University in 2010.
In 2010, Ms. Hartl began her career in palliative care as a nurse practitioner for Munson Home Care and Munson Medical Center, serving patients in the Traverse City region. In 2014, Ms. Hartl decided to establish her own venture, Chronic Care Management, LLC. In addition to her exemplary work with Chronic Care Management, Ms. Hartl has excelled as the owner and president of NPalliative®️ since 2018.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Hartl hopes to expand NPalliative,l®️ to include consulting and franchise opportunities. She is driven by a desire to help other nurse practitioners discover the opportunities available for them and their patients, and to empower other clinicians to go into business for themselves.
