Although she originally wanted to pursue a career in architectural engineering, Dr. Kuret believed that the area was not the right fit for her after working in the field with her uncle. Subsequently, Dr. Kuret received a Diploma of Nursing from Kirkland Lake Applied Arts and Technology, with honors, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sudbury Laurentian University, a Master of Science in nursing education, with honors, from Regis University and a Doctor of Philosophy in nursing from the University of Phoenix, with honors.
Throughout her career, Dr. Kuret has held numerous positions in academics and administration as well as at various medical institutions and organizations. She has served in several vice president posts for the past few years. Currently, Dr. Kuret excels as a process engineering SSL Master black belt consultant for Deisell Research Institute and Consultants and as the vice president of regulatory compliance and quality/performance improvement for Di Solutions.
Moreover, Dr. Kuret also authored many research studies and papers while providing her wealth of knowledge as a guest speaker for executive nurse leaders. She has further flourished as a consultant for numerous other health systems. For her contributions to her field, Dr. Kuret was presented with the North Shore Medical Center Nurse Excellence Award.
Civically, Dr. Kuret has provided her time and industry expertise to the American College of Health Care Executive, the Get With The Guideline Stroke Program and Mercy Hospital Community Events to promote health awareness. She maintains her professional affiliation with the Mercy Hospital Cancer Board, the South Florida Hospital Healthcare Association, the North Shore Medical Center Cancer Board, Sigma Theta Tau National Society and Leadership, Sigma Alpha Pi, the Missouri Nurses Association, the Florida Nurses Association, the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and the College of Nurses of Ontario.
