Ms. Ahrens had found success with Conair Corporation during her more than 20-year long career in sales. She led, at Conair, a talented team of sales professionals to become the number one hair accessories brand in the United States. Inspired to contribute, Ms. Ahrens theorized that there was a need for more upscale, innovative products at an affordable price. She founded Beauty Forward LLC in 2017. Under the umbrella of her new company, Ms. Ahrens launched the brand, Hair4Good (www.Hair4Good.com), in which she offers a full line of hair accessories, hair brushes, and related products. Her mission is to donate 50 percent of the profits to children's charities.
Drawing from her over two decades of experience, Ms. Ahrens is currently putting her expertise to good use by being intimately involved of all facets of her newly launched business venture, from product and logo design and development to advertising, and finance. Her motivation for being successful is to share the bounty of her company's good fortune with worthwhile charities such as Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Autism Speaks, and Lifting up Westchester. Holding patents/patents pending both nationally and internationally as well as several trademarks, Ms. Ahrens has attributed her professional success to her perseverance, hard work, critical thinking, risk-taking, people skills, and true love of the business.
Today, Ms. Ahrens maintains her professional affiliation with the Connecticut Women's Business Development Council, the Retail Management Executive Group and Human Trafficking Awareness Heroes. Looking toward to the future, she hopes to become a major player in the on-line retail industry via her website as well as showcasing her products with national retailers.
