Throughout his career, Mr. Lam has believed that financial achievement is not achieved through time, but rather through careful planning and periodic monitoring to assure results match with clients' targets. As a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Realtors, Mr. Lam has appeared on local newspapers and TV shows to help clients answer their financial questions and concerns. He is also a 38-year consecutive qualifying member of the premier financial services association—the Million Dollar Round Table (an international premier financial services associated with over 50,000 highly motivated members in over 100 nations, started with only 32 members meeting in The Peabody Hotel of Memphis in 1927, now headquartered in Illinois, USA ), with 21 years of Court of the Table and 5 Top of the Table elite membership.
In the coming years, Mr. Lam plans to change to work only part-time (kind of semi-retired) and pursue his hobby of domestic and international travels with his fiancée, Vivian, to different parts of the world. So far, Mr. Lam said he has only travelled to 50 some countries and 49 states of the US, 7-10 provinces/states of Canada, China, and Mexico and half of the European counties.
