A distinguished chemical engineer by trade, Mr. Giudice has earned distinction as the current owner of La Dolci Mania, a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina bakery and café which stems from his Italian roots. While coming of age in his native Italy, he learned of the love which goes into homemade meal, and now prides himself on providing a similar experience through his restaurant. Supported by a Master of Science in chemical engineering from Politecnico Di Torino in Turin, Italy from 1996, Mr. Giudice commenced his career as a project manager for the Italian government in 1997. From 1998 to 2001 he served as a consultant area representative for Hercules-Betzdearborn Division Incorporated in Venice, Italy before beginning his career ventures in the United States.
Mr. Giudice provided three years in Georgetown, South Carolina as a production manager for 3C Inc. before traveling overseas once again for focused plant work. From 2004 until 2007 he was the production manager for Polimeri Europa, an ENI Group Division petrochemical and refining business based in Priolo, Italy. Following this appointment, Mr. Giudice traveled internationally for ENI Exploration and Production Oil and Gas Division to work and live in Kazakhstan, Italy, Libya and Nigeria.
In Kazakhstan from 2008 to 2011, Mr. Giudice found success as a production optimization manager and onshore production superintendent with the Agip Kazakhstan North Caspian Operating Company N.V. in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, and a production optimization manager for Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. in Aksai, Kazakhstan. He subsequently worked at ENI's location in San Donato, Italy, before accepting further work in Africa in 2011. From 2011 until 2013, Mr. Giudice served as a complex deputy operation manager at the North Africa-Libyan Branch of ENI, and at Mellitah Oil and Gas Operating BV in Libya's Tripoli and Mellitah Field. He then transferred to work in Nigeria as a swamp area technical operation and project manager for NAE Nigeria Agip Exploration Ltd. in Nigeria's Swamp Area Field. Since 2015, Mr. Giudice has served as the plant's ABO field offshore operations manager.
Reflecting on his international career in chemical engineering, Mr. Giudice attributes his success to simply being a good person and performing excellently at his job. Despite his skill in engineering, he has held a strong passion for food since his youth, which his mother instilled in him. He is proud to have finally settled down from a life of corporate traveling to pursue his actual passion. In addition to food, Mr. Giudice enjoys soccer, volleyball and tennis.
