MAUMEE, OHIO, June 18, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nick Neiderhouse has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Dr. Neiderhouse developed a passion for helping others reach their potential early on in his career. He notably received a Bachelor of Science in middle childhood education from Defiance College before obtaining a master's degree in administration and a Doctorate in Education from Bowling Green State University. He began his career in education as a sixth-grade teacher. Briefly serving as a dean of students and an assistant principal, he currently excels as the principal of Wayne Trail Elementary School. In his current position, Dr. Neiderhouse strives to assist his students, staff, and community as a leader and principal, so that they can continue to improve themselves and those they influence.
As a dedicated educator, Dr. Neiderhouse has developed a service mindset in his school and has led staff members through many school improvements. His daily responsibilities include assessing teaching methods, monitoring student well-being and achievement, evaluating staff, meeting student needs, and planning for changes relating to policies and procedures. Throughout his career, he has been most proud of his dissertation, which took years to research and analyze. His dissertation focused on his innate desire to improve students' characters through engaging in service-learning lessons.
Dr. Neiderhouse is also proud to have earned a doctorate degree at the age of 30. For his professional accomplishments, he accepted the Young Alumni Service Award from Defiance College in 2015, and has written several articles in OAESA Principal Navigator Magazine throughout the years. He created and founded an App called We Teach: Learning through Serving®, which plans and coordinates service-learning opportunities for teachers and students. Dr. Neiderhouse has attributed his professional success to his work ethic and his aspiration to work with and serve others around him.
In order to remain aware of development in his field, Dr. Neiderhouse maintains his professional affiliation with State and National Principal organizations. These include the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), and Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators (OAESA). In OAESA, he serves on the communications service team and is a zone director. In his spare time outside of work, he volunteers with Calvary Church, Sunshine Communities, and Vision Ministries. In the coming years, Dr. Neiderhouse hopes to continue advancing in the ranks of education and step further into a leadership role.
