Dr. Millot is renowned as a retired epidemiologist with a career spanning more than 30 years of service to his patients and profession. His interest in a medical career was born out of a fascination with wellness and health studies, and he subsequently earned a Doctor of Medicine at Paris-Sud University in 1975. From 1975 to 1976, Dr. Millot served to the rank of a sous lieutenant in the French Army.
Dr. Millot later returned to Paris-Sud University to conclude his studies, graduating with a Master of Science in biomathematics and statistics in 1985. From 1975 to 1980, he found success in private practice, treating a number of patients in Cluses, France. Accepting a position as a medical advisor and a regional health statistics analyst for the EDF Gas de France in 1980, Dr. Millot flourished in this role until his retirement in 2012.
Throughout his career, Dr. Millot is most proud of his work in the early detection of influenza epidemics. A frequent contributor to professional journals, his research has been extensively published and referenced. In his retirement, From 1982 to 2004 he was an alpinist and a climber, then only a walker in the mountains because of a triple ankle fracture.
