Ms. Tackett is renowned as an esthetician and certified reiki practitioner serving clients throughout West Virginia. Obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from West Virginia State University, she began her career in counseling before realizing that the industry was not a good fit for her talents. Ms. Tackett further flourished in specialty sales as a supplies specialist for CF Medical/Philips Healthcare from 2007 to 2009.
From 2011 to 2012, Ms. Tackett worked in retail sales for the Tom James Company before thriving in insurance sales State Farm in South Charleston, West Virginia, from 2012 to 2015. She returned to her academic efforts in 2015, enrolling in the Huntington School of Beauty Culture to study esthetics. Serving as an esthetician at the Palm Salon & Spa from 2016 to 2017, Ms. Tackett established the Boho Spa and Unconditional Healing Center soon thereafter, where she actively continues to treat clients in addition to her duties as the chief communications officer.
Ms. Tackett is a certified level II Reiki practitioner in addition to being a licensed esthetician. She attributes her career success to the exemplary work ethic that her parents instilled in her, and to her drive to take control of her own life. Ms. Tackett hopes to expand her business within the immediate future, including moving to a larger space and hiring more employees to provide an expanded service menu.
