Mr. Bennett is renowned as an engineer and management consultant with a career spanning more than 60 years. He initially pursued an education at the University of Southern California, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1958. He subsequently earned a Master of Business Administration in operations analysis from the University of California Los Angeles in 1960. Mr. Bennett concluded his academic efforts with a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Southern California in 1962.
From 1960 to 1965, Mr. Bennett began his career as a chemical process engineer for CF Braun & Co., transitioning into a business development role from 1965 to 1973. Accepting the position of the vice president of Arthur G. McKee & Co. in Cleveland in 1973, he further flourished with Parsons Engineering Science Inc. until 1981. Moreover, Mr. Bennett served as a senior vice president of Santa Fe Braun Inc. from 1981 to 1989 and the executive vice president of the Parsons Corporation from 1989 to 1992.
Mr. Bennett was additionally active as the president of Parsons Environmental Services Inc. from 1992 to 1996 and the president of Harland Bartholomew & Associates from 1992 to 1995. He later worked as a senior vice president of Parsons Brinckerhoff Inc. from 1997 to 2006 and the chair of PB Power Incorporated from 1998 to 2004. Excelling as the chair of Quad Knopf in 2007 and the President of Alchemix Corporation from 2007 to 2010, he previously served as the co-chair of the environmental management advisory board for the United States Department of Energy. A private management consultant, Mr. Bennett is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
