Prior to obtaining his current role, he was an assistant professor at the University of Illinois from 2002 to 2007 and a lecturer with the Ohio State University from 1999 to 2002. Earlier in his career, he was a teacher with Mid-Prairie Community School District from 1992 to 1999. In addition to his primary roles, he has been the president of Actimax Learning Inc. since 2004.
Dr. Knobloch first pursued an education with Iowa State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in 1992. Continuing his studies with the school, he went on to complete a Master of Science in 1997. Following these achievements, he concluded his studies at the Ohio State University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in 2002.
A respected voice in his areas of interest, Dr. Knobloch has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations. He is a Fellow, Distinguished Researcher, and Distinguished Agricultural Educator of the American Association for Agricultural Education. He has been active in the American Educational Research Association and the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture. Furthermore, he served on the Board of Directors of the American Berkshire Association, and is a teacher and music director in the Apostolic Christian Church.
Throughout his career, Dr. Knobloch has been recognized for his contributions. He is a respective author of numerous publications and a grantee of the National Science Foundation and National Institute of Food and Agriculture. In light of all his accomplishments, he has previously been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders.
