In addition to her commitments at her practice, Dr. Rothstein Rubin was aligned with Hahnemann University Hospital as the medical director of the multidisciplinary cancer programs. She was previously affiliated with Presbyterian Medical Center for nearly a decade between 1989 and 1997. Additionally, Dr. Rothstein Rubin is a faculty member of Drexel University where she serves as a clinical professor of medicine.
Dr. Rothstein Rubin prepared for her career by earning an undergraduate degree at Brooklyn College in 1977 and a Doctor of Medicine at SUNY University in 1982. Further educational pursuits to her credit include an internship at Cooper University Hospital, a residency and fellowship at Pennsylvania Medical College and Hospital and a research fellowship at Lankenau Hospital. Eminently qualified in her field, Dr. Rothstein Rubin is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania, is board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, and speaks both English and Spanish fluently.
A dedicated civic advocate, Dr. Rothstein Rubin has served on the executive board of the Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, a nonprofit business organization. Aligned with several industry-related organizations, she is notably a member of board of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Pennsylvania National Oncology Network. She has raised seven children (two are physicians, one is in medical school) and has multiple grandchildren. She was married to Raphael Rubin until he passed from a GBM. She is an avid athlete, running, biking and summited Mount Kilimanjaro.
