Furthermore, He has been honored with numerous accolades, including First Prize in the Senior Division of the 1980 Scholarship Contest subsidized by the Educational Foundation of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. In 1993, he was bestowed with the Best Original Photographic Exhibit Award from the Greater New York Orchid Show, an inspiration for the name of his private practice. Prior to his emergence into the field of medicine, Dr. Reiffel earned a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University. In 1972, he graduated from Columbia University with a Doctor of Medicine.
