After working in business for many years, Ms. Fuerst discovered that her income was not as steady as she had hoped for it to be. In pursuit of financial stability, she decided to return to college, earning a Bachelor of Science in education from Saint Rose College. Upon her graduation, Ms. Fuerst accepted a position with the City School District of Albany as a middle school art teacher, in which she has remained for the last 10 years.
Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Fuerst has been affiliated with the Art Guild. She is also a member of the New York State Teachers Association. Looking toward the future, Ms. Fuerst intends to experience the continued growth and success of her career.
