SACRAMENTO, CA, October 15, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Antronette Robinson, MSN, RN, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After dedicating herself to her country as a U.S. Army critical care nurse and first lieutenant for 12 years, Ms. Robinson joined the Community Care VA Hospital, where she served as a nursing manager between 2016 and 2019, at which point she obtained the role of nursing director, where she oversees 160 employees. In addition to her work as a nurse, she went into business to foster her love of tea and coffee. Since co-founding her business, she has taken barista courses in order to manage the business independently.
Today, Ms. Robinson juggles her nursing duties with her work as owner of Maestro Coffee Shop, which is the only non-franchised and black-owned coffee shop in the area. At Maestro, they offer their own coffee blend in stores and are currently in the process of establishing a website so that their products can be sold online. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of excelling in nursing and business. After experiencing significant struggles in her formative years, she remained driven and built a better life for herself and her children.
An expert in her field, Ms. Robinson earned an Associate of Science from a local community college and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Bakersfield.
Subsequently, she completed a Master of Science in Nursing and health care administration from Aspen University. To remain abreast of changes in the field, she aligns herself with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, and gives back through Community Care VA Hospital's oversight committee, where she serves as chairperson.
In light of her professional excellence, Ms. Robinson has earned several certificates for organizational improvement. Looking forward, she intends to empower other Black individuals to ensure them that they can achieve anything to which they set their minds.
