A higher education professional with a proven track record of success in project management and administration, Ms. Guyton excelled as a patient service specialist with the University of Houston in Texas. Since 2015, she became efficient in the utilization of the PNC and PeopleSoft systems, scheduling and canceling appointments, and scanning and retrieving patient records. Alongside her husband, Dr. F.D. Guyton, she also serves as a business owner of Winning Wellness and Guyton's Couple's Coaching Institute, which has been one of the highlights of her career. Additionally, she was recently called to write a book, releasing "No Test No Testimony, Nudges and Nuggets from God" in January of 2020.
Previously, Ms. Guyton gained valuable expertise in the health care industry in her work with Cornerstone Community Health. Earlier in her career, she worked as an administrative and customer sales associate for Lowe's Home Improvement, as an office manager and an administrative assistant for Johnson Network Associates, and various other companies as an executive secretary and office administrator.
Dedicated to further education, Ms. Guyton earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Business, along with an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the CUSI (Christian University of Southern Indiana), for her service to the community, and her husband's induction as a Bishop in 2020). She plans to pursue her master's degree from CUSI soon, and will graduate from the University of Houston's Bauer College's SURE (Stimulating Urban Renewal through Entrepreneurship) Program in the Fall of 2020.
Outside of her work, Ms. Guyton aligns herself with the University of Houston chapter of Toastmasters International. Driven to give back to those less fortunate, she has also given back through St. John's Downtown Church and the Gulf Coast Community Services Association, where she served as an executive assistant to the executive director.
In recognition of her many accomplishments, Ms. Guyton was honored on the National Dean's List at Houston Community College in 2002 and received an Outstanding Performance Lowe's Store Meeting Certificate in 2013. Within the next five years, Ms. Guyton intends to continue writing, pursue recording an audiobook and expand her expertise in life coaching and public speaking.
