After receiving an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Florida Technical College, Mirca Mercado wanted to pursue a career that allowed her to help the community and be a part of the solution. She began her career as a Recruiter and W/C Claims Assistant for Comcar Industries. Due to closure of Comcar, Mrs. Mercado was in need of a transition position and found her calling at Labor Solutions, Inc. Mrs. Mercado now serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Labor Solutions, Inc. She is certified in CPR and Basic First Aid Training. She is also a Notary Public in the state of Florida.
Over the years, Mrs. Mercado has been proud ofher community involvement. She has worked hard to help build and uplift her community. Civically, she has been involved with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Rocking on the River for Autism and Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. She currently serves as Sergeant at Arms for Women 4 LULAC and School Advisory Council for Ridge Technical College. She maintains professional affiliations with the Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association, The Florida Staffing Association, and local Chambers of Commerce. Mrs. Mercado has attributed her professional success to her drive and outspoken nature. In the coming years, she plans to continue working on her path to greater success.
