Having garnered a laudable reputation as the chief executive officer of Burbank Services Inc., which he established in 1991, Mr. Burbank is known for his expertise in crew building and machine maintenance. Initially interested in typography, he served as the president of Perfection Graphics from 1985 to 1990, the vice president of Graphics United between 1984 and 1987 and the president of Minnesota Graphics from 1974 until 1984. Notably, Mr. Burbank completed typography for the Minneapolis Star Tribune during a workers' strike.
Mr. Burbank has been interested in typography since he helped his brother-in-law establish a printing company, entering into the field after returning from service with the U.S. Navy. Developing his skills in the industry, he excelled as the vice president of Burbank Burns from 1963 to 1965, the vice president of Twin City Index between 1965 and 1968 and the vice president of Pentagon Corp. from 1968 until 1972. Mr. Burbank also worked as the vice president of AS Industries from 1972 to 1978. Interested in diversification, he decided to switch to the cleaning industry after seizing an opportunity at a trade show.
Mr. Burbank also attended the University of Minnesota from 1957 to 1962 and has since earned distinction for his trustworthiness and the confidence with which he approaches each project. In addition to his professional endeavors, he has served as a youth counselor at Saint Luke's Lutheran Church. Moreover, Mr. Burbank helped the MS Association facilitate a yearly summer camp-out that took place from 2002 to 2007.
