A former director of member services at the Alotian Golf Club in Little Rock, Arkansas, Ms. Hallman served in a similar capacity at the Sage Valley Golf Club in Aiken. Excelling within a very competitive business, Ms. Hallman credits Jackson Stephens, the former chairperson of Augusta National, as one of her greatest mentors in life.
A prolific author, Ms. Hallman has written a number of novels. She published "The Memphis Kingmaker" in 2006, which is the story of a man from Tennessee who rises, alongside his companion from Georgia, from impoverishment to wealth. "Madame President," which followed in 2007, is the tale of Ophelia Hartwell as she concludes her term as ambassador to Nicaragua and her life's journey.
Ms. Hallman holds a MBA Essential I Certificate from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University since 2004. She also completed additional studies at Oxford University in England, receiving an art certificate in 2005. Eminently qualified in her field, she is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Ms. Hallman also received a certificate in the dental field from Midland Technology College in 1972.
Among her professional affiliations, Ms. Hallman is a former secretary of the Aiken Republican Club. She is also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a former member of Rotary.
