MANSFIELD, TX, November 10, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chiketa Kelly-Dale has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
As a high-school student, Ms. Kelly-Dale shared a room with her grandfather, who had been diagnosed with dementia, whose treatment inspired her to pursue a career in nursing. Supported by more than two and a half decades of practiced expertise, she excels today as an administrator with ADF Homecare, which caters to children and young adults, CKD Hospice and Palliative Care. In this capacity, Ms. Kelly-Dale attends to the elderly and ill within the comfort of their own home. Likewise, she works at New Direction Home Healthcare of DFW, which provides a range of nursing and therapy services in the comfort of one's home.
Alongside her administrative work, Ms. Kelly-Dale is the owner of Be Scentsible by CKD, through which she offers a wide range of bath and beauty products, and serves as the president and chief executive officer of the Black Nurses Society of Greater Arlington. Previously, she gained valuable expertise in healthcare management as the president and chief executive officer of the national association Black Nurses Rock of Greater Arlington Chapter. During the first half of 2016, she was diagnosed with triple negative stage one breast cancer and spent the year fighting for her life. While enduring a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, breast reconstruction and several other surgeries, she continued to provide for others, working full time for her own agency and managing another. In light of her professional expertise and life experiences, she frequently speaks to survivors and advocates for mobile mammogram services for those that cannot afford them.
An expert in her field, Ms. Kelly-Dale earned an Associate of Science in nursing from the International College of Health Sciences in 2018. Dedicated to those less fortunate, she contributes by treating patients without insurance and through charitable events presented by the Black Nurses Society of Greater Arlington. Due to her experiences as both a nurse and a patient, she authored "When the Nurse Becomes the Patient: Conquering Breast Cancer" and co-authored "CPR for the Soul: Daily Devotions for Nurses. Looking toward the future, Ms. Kelly-Dale intends to continue working for the betterment of her community and fostering the growth of her businesses.
