INGLEWOOD, CA, December 23, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Janice Rouise has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Rouise is an esteemed home healthcare provider and a retired financial services professional celebrating more than 30 years of service to those in need. Driven by a lifelong desire to help others in any way possible, she works with clients living with cancer, dementia and limited mobility as well as those recovering from short-term injuries and surgery, empowering them to live independently and regain a sense of autonomy. A graduate of the University of La Verne, Ms. Rouise has obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2002 and a Master of Science in Gerontology in 2007, presenting her thesis on financial planning for the elderly, disabled and independent living.
As a part of her commitment to helping every member of the community achieve their full potential, Ms. Rouise has volunteered as a case manager for Los Angeles-area organizations serving homeless clients. Though involved in numerous success stories, she remembers her work with a homeless client struggling with a terminal medical diagnosis who lived three years longer than expected after finding a home, and an elderly couple whose wedding she helped arrange as highlights of her tenure as a case manager. Prior to her work in healthcare and human services, Ms. Rouise found much success in her career as an Officer with Bank of America, handling loans, collections, and small claims processes, and was recognized as one of her bank's top employees with numerous awards and two all-expenses-paid celebrations in Vancouver, Canada and Miami Beach, FL.
Ms. Rouise attributes her success to her moral leadership, integrity, courage, compassion and ability to connect with others, no matter their circumstance. In honor of her exemplary work with vulnerable and underserved populations, she has been presented with letters of commendation from President George W. Bush in 2005, President Barack Obama and California State Senator Curren Price. Celebrated as the California Healthcare Employee of the Year in 2019, Ms. Rouise was appointed as the former president and chief executive officer of California Women and her community homeowner's association, and remains active as a member of Zeta Phi Beta, Toastmasters International, American Cancer Society, Root Circle, and the homeless.
