NEDERLAND, TX, January 07, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Autumn Brown has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. After nearly 25 years of legal work, and after witnessing how others suffered and how blessed she was, Ms. Brown, driven to redefine her personal and professional goals, decided to establish the SETX Civilian Taskforce, a nonprofit organization dedicated to disaster response and recovery, as well as helping those dealing with domestic violence, homelessness and other forms of disaster. Additionally, since the organization's inception, they have rebuilt more than 30 homes in the Southeast Texas area. Despite their small numbers, and being a completely volunteer organization, the SETX Civilian Taskforce has made a significant impact on those in Southeast Texas.
In addition to establishing SETX Civilian Taskforce, Ms. Brown has given back to her community through the American Red Cross, World Vision, through which she was named a representative for Southeast Texas, and the U. S. Coast Guard, where her group helped repair boats and participated in the rescue of tens of thousands of individuals during Hurricane Harvey in 2017.

For her professional excellence and her charitable work, Ms. Brown has been honored many times, earning a Game Changers Award in 2017, a Real American Hero award in 2018, and a Dobbins Award through the U.S. Coast Guard in 2018. Outside of her work, she has dedicated herself to the betterment of others by working through local women's and children's shelters, homeless shelters, churches and various child advocacy organizations. Looking forward, Ms. Brown aims for SETX Civilian Taskforce to be a widely recognized organization.
