Ms. Usry celebrates more than a decade of expertise in residential real estate as an associate of Sotheby's International Realty. She holds a Bachelor of Science in political science from the University of Georgia School of Public and International Affairs, and enjoyed a 20-year career in the financial services sector prior to entering the real estate industry. A successful investment banker, Ms. Usry worked with First Union Capital Markets, Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo, departing the industry after the birth of her child.
She began her real estate career as an associate of Monument Sotheby's International Realty in 2010, and joined DeLoach Sotheby's International Realty in 2018. Ms. Usry considers real estate to be a natural evolution of her talents and career path and credits her success to her people skills, negotiation abilities and passion for architecture. She is a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable with numerous sales awards to her name, and hopes to expand her business beyond the Golden Isles area in the coming years.
Ms. Usry is active in the UGA Parents' Council and the Phi Mu Parents Club, and serves as chair of the Greenspring Valley Garden Club Founders Fund. She is the former entertainment chair of the Mount Vernon Club of Baltimore, and has been named to the Saint Simons Island 100 Women to Care. As a part of her ongoing commitment to professional growth and development, Ms. Usry is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Golden Isles Association of Realtors and the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors. In her personal time, she is dedicated to championing the preservation of architectural history, the GIYO Golden Isles Youth Orchestra, and belongs to the Coastal Georgia Historical Society and the Live Oak Society of the Saint Simons Land Trust.
