PITTSBURGH, PA, February 03, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- D.L. Jennings has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After witnessing the September 11th attacks, Mr. Jennings decided to enlist within the U.S. Air Force, and subsequently served as an airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operator. During the length of his service, he also received an Associate of Arts in Korean studies and a Bachelor of Science from Bellevue University.
After separating from the Air Force, Mr. Jennings began his writing career, having drawn inspiration to release his work after exchanging letters with a friend in the publishing industry. Since then, he has authored two novels, "Gift of the Shaper," and "Awaken the Three," a sequel to his first book. Mr. Jennings has always been interested in adventure books, and wanted to embody that fantasy in his own works.
For his military service, Mr. Jennings was presented with numerous accolades. To wit, he received the Korean Consul General Award, 17 Air Medals, a Joint Service Achievement Medal and a Joint Service Accommodation Medal. As an accomplished writer, Mr. Jennings received the Beverly Hills Book Award, the Next Generation Indie Book Award and the NYC Big Book Award.
Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Jennings has attributed his professional success to his mother, who was an avid reader of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis novels. She would often read "The Magician's Nephew" to him, which led to an enduring passion for the genre at an early age. He began writing in order to leave a lasting impression and make the world a better place. In the coming years, Mr. Jennings plans to continue working on a screenplay for his first story and a third novel.
