Having led a multifaceted career, Mr. Perry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in risk management and marketing from Baylor University. He currently holds several licenses in the financial industry, as well as private certifications in multiple areas of mediation and arbitration. Mr. Perry began his career as a private advisor in finance and has been recognized for production and client service by more than one financial company. Having initially ventured into the financial industry in order to help others achieve their goals, Mr. Perry then became involved in governmental work so that he could serve his community more effectively.
He now serves as the county commissioner of Precinct 3 in Ellis County, Texas, and was the first commissioner in his precinct to be elected for three terms. Mr. Perry has been active in conservative politics since his college days, has served politically in many capacities, and was privileged to serve as a national delegate at the Republican National Convention on two occasions.
To remain aware of developments affecting his field, Mr. Perry has maintained his professional affiliation with a number of pertinent organizations. To wit, he is a member of the Texas Counties Investment Academy. Mr. Perry has also been involved in his community through a number of outlets, including serving on the business school advisory board for Southwestern Assemblies of God University and as a member of both the Optimist and Rotary clubs.
Mr. Perry has been married to his wife Rebecca for 38 years; they have eight children and three grandchildren. In addition, Mr. Perry is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing when the opportunity arises.
